Grizzly Bear Plaque

Mom and Dad of Josiah are fans of the outdoors. The bear is from some clip art that I converted to an SVG file and added layers...and mounting tape to give him dimension. I was pleased how he turned out.

Birthday Ensemble

If one ever wants to add that little something to a card, prisma glitter is a great subtle effect that packs a gentle blingie punch.  I'm not sure you can see it on the photo, but the cake slice (from PC Hugware) is outlined with a 2 Way Glue pen and then sprinkled with glitter.  I keep the glitter in a resealable container so I can dump it directly back in the container.
The inside of this card has a fun pop up cake.  I've made a tutorial in this post showing how to assemble the cake.

This cute little cake is made from a flameless tealight. I thought it was a fun addition to the go with the card.

Pay It Forward Project 3: Valentine Mailbox

My third Pay It Forward is for a friend who teaches Kindergarten.  I thought she might need a mailbox for Valentines.  I found a pink mailbox at Target in their dollar section and had fun altering it.

Flowers were cut using Make the Cut. The heart on the flag is from the Doodlecharms cartridge. I textured the heart and the flower center with Swiss Dots in the Cuttlebug. For a bonus I printed off some quick Valentines using various clip art images from PC Hugware.
Stay tuned for project number 4...

Pay It Forward Project 2: Gracious Words Tile

My second Pay It Forward project was for a friend at church.  This verse from Proverbs seemed to be what I needed to make into a project for her.  She really takes this verse to heart.

I cut the vinyl, using Make the Cut and adhered it to a 13 inch tile.  The font is LD Elegant and the bee is from PC Hugware "Honeyville".
 ...to be continued :)

My Christmas Gift

For Christmas, my Honey bought me the Classic Oval Nestabilities (all four...2 regular and 2 scallop sets.)  Here's my first project playing with them.  I used a Stampin' Up! embossing folder on the back of the card and some PCHugware (From the Feathered Nest by Kaelynn Winn) for the "Thanks".
