Babies

Way back in September, I got some of the cutest little brad buttons (from Making Memories.)  After getting the new Everyday Paper Doll Cricut Cartridge, I knew that they belonged on the baby pajamas.  Here are a few of the cards...

...just had to share :)

Valentine's Day Cards

After staying up until 1:30 in the morning and another half hour on Sunday, I finally finished the Valentine's Day cards for the kids.  It was a learning experience for my new program "Make the Cut", which is really cool for designing my own die cut patterns for the Cricut.  Mario was my first one for Josh...
Timmy caught me working on Mario and asked for a Funky Kong, so I put this together...
Nate's card was actually clip art from pcCrafter.com that I printed three times and then layered.
Tom's card is stamped and dry embossed with a Cuttlebug.  It coordinated with the gift bag.

I think I had better start next years, so I don't have to do so much last minute :)

New Light Box

I got a bee in my bonnet this weekend to make a light box so I could take nice pictures of my cards.  Googled it and found easy directions.  Here's the box:

After putting it together, I was looking all around for something else to photograph.  Timmy offered Muffin and some Lightening McQueens.  Muffin is definitely my favorite!
And finally, here's a picture of one of my cards.

First Post

Well...here is my first try at blogging.  I'm not particularly good with words, but the thought of designing my own background to match my craft room was quite intriguing!  I absolutely love to craft, especially with paper.  I don't have the attention span to really enjoy sewing or other projects that take more than an hour.  Although, they are fun once they are done, the process just isn't the same.

One of my favorite things to do is alter items.  My recent project is trying to cut vinyl and decorate my Cricut. Here's a picture of it.  I think I could become addicted to working with this medium because it is so easy to use and gives such crisp results.
